Download videos from X / Twitter

Copy the post link

Open the post containing the video in X. Choose Share → Copy link. A profile URL, screenshot, or direct message is not a post link.

Get the video

Open the downloader, paste the full x.com or twitter.com post link, and choose Get video. You do not need an account. If a post has several native videos, each available video appears separately.

Choose a quality and save

Select one of the available MP4 qualities and choose Download MP4. Qualities come from the source; a higher resolution cannot be created from a low resolution original. Your browser controls the final save location.

On iPhone or iPad

Use Safari and confirm the browser download. Check Safari's Downloads list and the Files app. To move a saved MP4 to Photos, open it in Files and use Share → Save Video when available. Exact steps depend on the iOS version and browser.

On Android

Use your browser's download prompt, then check Downloads or your file manager. Browser and device behavior varies.

If downloading fails

Links expire after 15 minutes: get the video again to refresh them. A private, deleted, restricted, external, or live video may be unavailable. Retry later if X or the metadata provider is temporarily unavailable. See common errors.

Only save material you own or have permission to download. This service is independent of X.
